Important Continuing Education Information
There is a great deal of confusion over the requirements for real estate continuing education. Please be aware that:
  • All Brokers licensed prior to July 1, 2014 MUST complete 12 hours of continuing education each and every year by June 30th.
  • Managing Brokers (formerly called principal brokers), must include 4 hours of managing broker courses as part of their yearly 12 hour requirement.
  • Brokers newly licensed July 1, 2014 and after, must complete a specific 30 hours of continuing education within 2 years of obtaining their licenses.

Click here to view the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency Post Licensing Education Information. Regardless of license date, all brokers will renew their licenses and pay a renewal fee by June 30, 2017.

  March 4th is Matrix® Cutover Day
  The final cutover to Matrix™ – when Tempo and Fusion™ are discontinued and we are solely using Matrix® – will occur at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015.  If you have not attended training, now is the time to register for Hands-on training, webinar training or go to the “Help” tab in Matrix®, open up the Matrix® Video Tutorials and select “System Overview” for a full overview of Matrix®.  As a refresher, you can select one of the many tutorials that have been specifically made to enhance your knowledge of specific functionality within Matrix®.

  REALTOR®/Builder Cooperative Gaining Traction  
  REALTORS® and builders are joining the Pact! To date, 29 real estate companies representing more than 1,900 REALTOR® members have signed on. If your brokerage has not, please contact Debbie Fairfax at for information or click here for a short video and copy of the agreement.   
  Tech Fee Billing Out Next Week  
  Please look for your Tech Fee invoice to arrive next week. This invoice is due by March 20th. If you currently take advantage of autopay – where your credit card on file with the MIBOR Accounting Office is automatically charged – look for that charge to appear on or around March 19th. If you do not currently utilize autopay and wish to begin doing so with the NEXT billing cycle, check the box on the back of your paper invoice labeled “For All Current and Future Invoices” and sign.
