David Wenzel is a vice president of HNTB Corporation, a national consulting firm with over 60 offices nationwide.  He oversees the firms national Urban Design and Planning Practice.  David has more than 30 years of professional experience, of which eight years were spent in the public sector, including serving as Community Development Director of Thornton, Colorado and Assistant Director of Planning for the City of Dallas, Texas. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects, including community planning, downtown plans, urban design studies and land plans.
