Matrix™ training is off to a great start with presentation-style classes drawing more than 1,500 members in the first week. The training team visited Fishers and Plainfield and squeezed two classes in at the MIBOR office all in week one. Presentation-style training continues through December 19th. From there, subscribers will be able to take advantage of webinars and hands-on training classes before the system goes live in early 2015.

Indianapolis Landlord Registration Details Pending

Recently, the City of Indianapolis passed a landlord registration ordinance that will now require anyone who rents residential property to first register with the city starting January 1, 2015. Local Market Review:  August Data Shows Strong Prices, Still Trailing Sales

Housing data released by MIBOR today shows strong prices increases in central Indiana with continued decreases in closed and pending sales. It’s been a similar narrative all year; media and average sales price growing 4-6 percent each month with closed sales trailing. Closed sales for August declined by 2.9 percent however, less than the 8.5 percent decline in July. Pending sales fell only slightly; less than one percent.
