COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
The National Association of REALTORS® unveiled a brand-new program focusing on member professionalism. The goal of this program, Commitment to Excellence or C2EX for short, is to take professionalism to the next level and ensure members are providing the best possible service to consumers and one another. The C2EX program reinforces behavior changes through an online platform with engaging experiences.
The program is built around ten competency areas, approved by NAR’s Board of Directors, ranging from data privacy, customer service, Code of Ethics, advocacy and technology. It is not a course and no two REALTORS® will have the same experience. The program offers a completely customized path toward success by factoring in each individual’s preexisting level of skill and knowledge in each competency.
Members who complete the program are considered C2EX Endorsed REALTORS® and can advertise their accomplishment!
For more information about the program, please visit the C2EX website.
MIBOR'S PROFESSIONALISM MATTERS! COURSE
This course is unique in that it is specifically tailored to the concerns and issues identified through the MIBOR Professionalism survey conducted in the fall of 2016. During this course you will learn what your colleagues think of the state of professionalism, what it means to be a professional, why it matters, and ways to address unprofessional behavior.
Eric Seymour will lead our course as an instructor for RECP. Eric has served on local and state Boards of Directors for real estate associations and currently on the Executive Committee for the Indiana Association of REALTORS®. He has served as state RPAC chair receiving the Trailblazer award and also received the honor of being the REALTOR® of the Year for the state of Indiana in 2012. One of his passions is to teach people—in 2016, he chose to join forces with RECP to teach his fellow REALTORS® to spice up the Continuing Education arena!
Two hours of CE will be accredited by RECP after attending. Please note that Indiana CE rules require attendance from start to finish for credit.
