2008 Investment Proposal

 

In light of increasingly strained budgets for community and economic development organizations, RCII is designed to strengthen the effectiveness of such organizations through financial support.

INVESTMENT PROPOSAL GUIDELINES: The following guidelines contain instructions that must be followed in order for your application to be considered for submission. Please read through this page before you begin your online application.

  • Qualifying organizations will have a Community Development or Economic Development focus. Examples of such
    organizations are, but not limited to, Local Economic Development Organizations, Chambers of Commerce, and Community Development Corporations.
  • All applications must be received from organizations within the MIBOR service area which includes the counties of: Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, and Shelby.
  • All investment proposals will be reviewed by members of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS®.
  • Organizations may seek funding up to $100,000 for a specific project that meets the RCII stated mission and guidelines. A total of $100,000 is available for program funding.
  • The Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® reserves the right to limit the amount of money awarded. Not all applications may be approved by the RCII investment proposal review committee.
  • Organizations selected to receive funding will be asked to submit a final investment report.
  • Funding decisions will be announced by December 12, 2008.
  • Funding is intended for use during the 2009 calendar year.
  • All applications must be received no later than October 31, 2008 at midnight.
  • All applications must be submitted electronically by clicking here.

Please be aware that once you begin the application, you will not have the ability to save your work and return to it at a later date. Click here for a list of the questions in the investment proposal application.

The most efficient way to complete the application is by answering the questions first in a Word document or other word processing program. When you are ready to submit your application, you can use the “paste function” to input your answers into the application.
