Oktoberfest a great success! Thanks to special efforts from CENTURY 21 At the Crossing, Langdon Mortgage and Dan McMichael of the Rathskeller, the Foundation celebrated Oktoberfest in style on October 4 at the Old Northside Lofts (16th and Alabama). Approximately 120 people helped raise funds for the Foundation while enjoying authentic German fare. A small silent auction and donations at the event helped to raise $3,200 for the Foundation. Thanks to everyone who attended!
Northside Division of MIBOR gives back In September, the Northside Division of MIBOR presented the Foundation with a $3,000 contribution, a significant increase from last year’s efforts. The Division raised money through events such as the Northside picnic and was also able to donate to Coburn Place Safe Haven and to the Ball: 2008. Thank you to the Northside Division! |
