Calling ALL REALTORS®! We know so many of you volunteer significant time giving back to the community and we want to recognize that impactful effort! Announcing...REALTOR® Action Day (RAD) 2022! On July 15, we are encouraging REALTORS® across the service area to plug in on one of several projects already organized within the region.
REALTOR® Action Day (RAD) was created to provide MIBOR REALTOR® members with the opportunity to give back to their communities through placemaking and quality of life projects and to help encourage volunteerism across the MIBOR region. On RAD, REALTORS® will volunteer at 9 different locations making a notable and combined impact within our communities.
“Volunteering isn’t about building your business — but it can be a satisfying and profitable byproduct. New clients can come from all types of community involvement, whether it’s through efforts at your place of worship, involvement in your local chamber of commerce, or work within nonprofits or local schools.”- Lee Nelson, NAR Freelance Journalist
REALTORS® play a critical role in the process of buying and selling homes, and many help make their communities become better places to live, work, play and invest by undertaking various impactful volunteer projects. RAD was created as an opportunity for REALTORS® to come together and plug in on several volunteer projects happening in the region.
Additionally, the recently launched National Association of REALTORS® program, REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors, recognizes NAR members who truly care for their communities. From single acts of kindness to community-wide initiatives, NAR wants to celebrate the time and commitment you have for volunteering. MIBOR staff will be logging your volunteer hours for RAD, but maximize the impact of your community service by logging your own volunteer time at REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors (nar.realtor).
