What Is Data Licensing?

MIBOR BLC® Listing Service database compilation is jointly copyrighted by MIBOR BLC® Listing Service and the listing brokers. This copyright is obtained to protect the intellectual property rights in the database content relating to listings on behalf of the listing broker. Therefore, any use of the MIBOR BLC® Listing Service data must be protected by a Data Licensing Agreement. The applicable use of the MIBOR BLC® Listing Service data governs what type of agreement is needed. There are three types of Data Licensing Agreements including IDX, VOW and Back-Office. More information about each is available in the dropdown menu.

The Participant must have the ability to add, delete, modify and update information as required by this policy. All displays of the IDX electronic display or delivery of a listing must be under the actual and apparent control of the Participant and must be presented to the public as being the Participant’s display or delivery. Any IDX display or delivery by a licensee of the principal broker is subject to the Participant’s oversight, supervision, and accountability and must include the Participant's company name or logo in compliance with Indiana license law requirement.
