Millions of dollars of down payment assistance funds are left unused every year, often simply because potential buyers don’t know that help is available that could make the difference in their home buying journey. Downpayment Resource provides BLC® subscribers with marketing collateral, training on how to use DPAs to build a buyer pipeline, a lead generation personalized link, as well as an integrated link to all DPAs on every eligible listing in the BLC®.
Fraudulent Listing Protection
Property Shield
Fraudulent listings posted without authorization from the listing agent or seller can cause thousands of dollars in damage to would-be buyers or renters, as well as harm to credit and identity theft. To combat this, the BLC® partners with Property Shield, a cybersecurity and fraud prevention company, to identify potentially fraudulent versions of listings posted online and alerts the listing agent to the concerning post. If confirmed fraudulent by the listing agent, Property Shield removes the fraudulent post and continues any additional necessary takedowns, minimizing the risk of harm to the public.
