Our Team

Heather Heikkila joined MIBOR in February 2026 as the Fund Development and Events Associate for the REALTOR® Foundation, where she supports fundraising initiatives that advance the organization’s mission and strengthen its impact in the community.

Heather brings more than five years of experience in fund development and community engagement within the nonprofit sector. Before transitioning into nonprofit work, she built a unique foundation in the aviation industry, specializing in aircraft weight and balance operations and hazardous materials transportation.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys hiking, spending time in nature, and being with her family. She values MIBOR’s commitment to service and collaboration and is proud to contribute to work that creates meaningful, lasting change within the community.
